Wish I could say I have or would never do this.

I have old Truck and when you get below 1/2 tank your guessing how much you have in gas. I have wooden dial rod I put down the filler neck to know how much gas it has.

why not just count the miles by the tracker and factor in average mpg to get an estimate of available miles before tank is empty...?
