Sunk about 100 hours over the last few weeks into the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Very close to the end of 3 now. Felt nice to have something to binge play again.

Had you tried to choose advanced options and reinstall shaders? That'll take a while but had fixed my previous loading options at some maps.

You're all going to laugh....or maybe even mock me...but with my mighty overclocked I9 9900K, 32 GB ram, RTX 3080 graphics card and two onboard 2TB nvme M.2 ssds, I've been playing one of the greatest games ever: Peggle Deluxe by Popcap.
Yes, Peggle. If you haven't played this game, it is very addictive and brilliant in its simplicity - no kidding. When I'm not playing Peggle, then in all seriousness I am playing a lot of DCS in VR. Last edited by BMWGUYinCO; 06-03-2021 at 03:55 PM.. |

I've got my 5950x, 6900xt, 32gb 3600/CL14, OS on a 980 PRO M.2 drive, all my games on two 970 Evo Plus M.2 drives in RAID 0, all my media across 4 Sata SSDs. I really haven't played many games that take the power into account. Spiritfarer, Mass Effect games, the older style Resident Evils, some WoW. And even those games that don't need much power I limit my fps to my monitors refresh at 165 so a lot of the time my GPU fans don't even turn on. Even when I'm encoding videos while playing a game and watching a stream my cpu doesn't really go past like 60% use. And honestly, that's what I like. I like having overpowered parts that I can run at medium load so they only hit like 65c.

Right now I am playing the game where I tell myself I am dieting to get in shape for the summer and my upcoming vacation, but in reality I am eating everything in sight.
I'm not sure if that is winning or losing.

Played Control for a while, the 1070 just can't keep up, so waiting on a 3080 that's impossible to find.
Breathedge was really good and funny. Subnautica: Below Zero is okay, not as good or fear inducing like the first. Elden Ring January 21 2022! |

Yeah, really looking forward to it, if I could I would get rid of COD instantly. Today had the weekly patch applied and after that I encountered 3 CTD's in a row, lost points and matches. That sux.

After finished Mass Effect I was struggling to find something else to play. Almost immediately started a second playthrough as different gender, Renegade, class, other choices.
After E3 I noticed a lot of older JRPGs getting remasters and Suikoden getting a spiritual successor in Eiyuden Chronicle. Made me want to play Suikoden 1 again, so I did and decided to playthrough all the Suikoden games and then going further to play a ton of old JRPGs I never got around to. So I'll be playing a huge marathon of: Suikoden I, II, III, IV, V, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, Earthbound, Golden Sun, Grandia, Super Mario RPG, Valkyria Profile, Breath of Fire III, IV, Xenogears, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma, Vagrant Story Gonna be a long several months, list subject to change of course. Hope I can keep it up, and also keep up with my exercise haha. I'm only mostly through Suikoden II as of right now.

Wanted to throw out a huge recommendation for "Prey". Amazing game! On PC! Such a well done, great story, immersive, smooth running and addictive game!
Going to try Control next...

Escape from Tarkov and FIFA 21.
Really excited for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to come out. May replay Metro Exodus now that it got a next gen upgrade. I play almost all games on my PC, but I did buy Metro for console.

Well I'm stuck in the middle east for the next year-ish, so far I have downloaded:
Assassins Creed Origins Horizon Zero Dawn Death Stranding Been playing Horizon Zero Dawn a lot lately. Pretty cool story I think, graphics are awesome for being a 2017 (?) released game. AC Origins keeps crashing on my PC. It would work for a while, then CTD, so I kept playing as I could, but now it wont get past a cutscene without crashing, so I gave up. Death Stranding wont load on my PC (older 960m card). Tried all the fixes but nothing has worked. I guess its a Dx12 issue on the older cards. So I broke down and ordered a new ASUS ROG 14", Ryzen 9, RTX 3060. Maybe now I'll get to play all my games lol. |
