8c here it's warmer than yesterday and dry as a bone.

They scared everybody with a -31°F (-23.8°F) but they were wrong, -24°c (-11°F) was the coldest and its now a balmy -16°C (-3.2°F)

I know, it only turned out to be half as cold as they predicted. Sun's out over here which helps a lot. Might have to bust out the shorts.

If you believe the European forecast model.

The GFS model (made in the U-S-of-A by gawd)

currently says that the storm is tracking more easterly, and only eastern Lawn Guyland may see noteworthy snow totals.....

This probably belongs in the "You had one job" thread. NBC News - New York City could see as little as 2 inches of snow or as much as 20 inches of snow this weekend.

I don't know about that. I just read in the Daily News that parts of LI could get 36 inches. No way to know what is hype and what is real.
