Toyota still has 0% financing; and now $4500 cash back on 2020 Supra. Whoa.

All the dealers around here have already sold out their 2020s and have 2021s on the lot.

Has Toyota come up with a solution for the wind buffeting yet?

Who wants the lower HP one? Plus I'm waiting to see the other new cars coming out next year.

Toyota hasn't, but the aftermarket has. It's a little deflector you put by the sideview mirror I think.

That's exactly why there's a $4500 discount. 💡

This is the downside to saying the car will be updated every year since it backloads purchases to the final years of the lifecycle. And if the GRMN model really isn't coming out until 2024/2025 then I may as well buy something else now while I hold out for the model I truly want.

I know that, but to me it's like buying the Ecoboost Mustang over the GT because of a few grand.

First, I agree. While an attractive deal, I don't think I'd be comfortable over the long term settling for a 2020 over a 2021. However I can afford the 2021. Someone else might not be able to afford a 6-cylinder 2021 MY, but a leftover 2020 MY with 0% financing might have around the same monthly payments as a 4-cylinder 2021 with standard financing. Sure a hell we'd both take a 2020 over a 2021 4-cylinder!

Why would you respond stating all the local dealers are sold out when Dog Face mentioned the incentives. But then turn around and say who would want a 2020 anyway after I mention there are still ones available? Why wouldn't you lead with your second statement because it makes the first one irrelevant. On top of that he was just making a general statement and you're acting like it was directed at you.

This is a thread about 2020+ models and I'm absolutely positive there are people out there would will opt to get a 2020 after a 5k incentive plus last year model price negotiations. If you negotiated even remotely well you'll walk away negating your first year of depreciation on this vehicle.

I imagine a really mild stage 1 tune will push the 2020 to 2021 levels yeah?

Sure, just depends on if you care about possible drivetrain claims down the line.

Has BMW started adding the flash counter to the ECUs like Audi/VW have? So there is no way to flash it back to stock without them being able to see a change was made?
