Isn’t there also a rumor Toyota will put the S58 in the Supra?

Yeah, can't get much more limited than ZERO. There will be no S58 Supra.

I hope the manuals are semi-easy to come by.
Though I don't want one, I'd love to see a little price drop on the 21/22s as everyone puts their automatics up for sale to trade into a manual. Perfect time for me to get an auto. |

s58 supra is a big if. for one i'm not sure if BMW is keen on lending out an M motor to toyota when they don't even offer an Z4M. maybe they can work out a deal though.
the biggest hurdle would be cooling. The S58 needs alot of it and its a big reason why the G80 has those huge nostrils and nobody can make an aftermarket solution. B58+manual is fine with me. few bolt ons that motor is making more than enough power. I just hope toyota can retune the shift/clutch feel because modern BMWs are pretty terrible if you've driven a type R or porsche GT3.

As much as I agree with you wholeheartedly, the sheer amount of guys who do highway pulls only for views on youtube/gram/tiktok is astonishing, guess highway pulls get more clicks than a properly strung together lap

Loll on my my friends is some weird Toyota purist and like an internet fanboy stereotype, talks so much shyt on this car because "it's a BMW not a Supra!"
People like this are only cheating themselves. A RWD premium sports car with BMW's excellent B58/ZF powertrain and chassis, unique styling, and sportier steering tuning by Toyota all for $55k? This car is arguably the best bargain premium sports car on the market. Meanwhile people out here driving lame CUVs and trucks for this price.

Yes, those fools have no idea that the B58 version used in the Supra (not the earlier B58) had strong involvement from Toyota
I would like to see the S58 in the MT GR Supra. While the GRMN version will most likely get the S58, it is really a collectors' car, being too few in numbers and too expensive for most Supra buyers. |

The 2020 Supra used the B58B30C There was two earlier versions (B58B30M0 & B58B30M1) that are again different. After that, Toyota had input on the engine design that lead to the B58B30C and then the current B58B30O1 |
