Thanks. It still doesn't show up on my end. Desktop or my phone.

2) I used to work for a Class 8 truck OEM. We always scored low compared with our competitors on "Engine quality" despite using the same engines as our competitors.

3) You are more inclined to take the time to fill in a long, detailed, survey if you are seriously mad at your vehicle manufacturer.

4) Ever notice how your car just seems to run better, to feel better, to be more enjoyable after you detail it? Your emotions towards your car change but the reliability has not. People are emotional creatures and cant be trusted to accurately respond to a survey like this.

JD Powers is a fantastic measure of how owners "feel" about their vehicles and nothing more.

OK, rant over. Now back to the funny pics. Here's my dog with her head stuck in a fence.

Think what you want, but this is spot on as far as my experience has been.
I'm only surprised Peugeot is that high based on a perception from decades ago.
My 2016 M3 has been in the shop for 10% of my ownership time.
I also own a couple of Hyundais - Veloster and Genesis - with zero problems.

Second worst for me has been a Lexus IS250. I'd only swap Audi and Toyota in that chart and that would be my experience. Had a 2.0T Audi with an oil consumption problem.

The M3 is fun to drive though, there is no denying that.

My point is that the study is based on nothing but customer feelings and opinions. There's no hard data behind it. If the study was based on dealership service department data, I'd give it more credit.

Additionally, so many unanswered questions:

- Are commercial vehicles like taxis included
- Did they account for warranty vs. non warranty repairs? (You're more likely to bring that car in to fix that annoying rattle if you arent paying the bill).
- Are these problems as identified by the customer or by the service center?
- How old are the vehicles in each study?

The best way I can illustrate my point is with the UK and US charts back to back.

BMW in US = Better than average.
BMW in UK = Worst

Mini in UK = 6th from the top
Mini in UK = 6th from the bottom

Audi in US = 8th place
Audi in UK = 3rd from the bottom

Is that due to Diesel vs Gas, maybe?
