Annual Junior Achievement Fund Raising
Hello fellow M3 owners,
I know I don't post on here much. Here is the link to my m3forum.net posting. http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=497265. I'm more reputable in that forum. If you have any questions don't hesitate to PM me. It's that time of the year again. I'm raising money for Junior Achievement again this year. Your contributions helps over 125,000 local students. Below are two short video on one of the Junior Achievement programs and what Junior Achievement provides to our next generation. Make a difference by helping the next generation of our country to envision bigger and better things. Open up their minds to the possibilities and opportunities that are available for them in the real world. This inspires our kids to accomplish their goals and they will pass this knowledge onto their peers. When our kids let their own light shine, they unconsciously give their peers permission to do the same. My goal this year is to raise at least $150.00 this year for this event not including my contribution. Any amount will help. If you'd like to know more about what Junior Achievement is all about. Here is a brief background information: Junior Achievement (JA) provides in-school and after-school programs for K-12 students which focus on entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness. JA programs are implemented by volutneers and teach concepts through experiential learning. For example, students in an elementary school might learn about unit versus assembly line production by producing donuts. Or, high school students might participate in our popular JA Stock Market Challenge, a stock market simulation game in which teams compete to build their stock portfolios. You can also find out more information regarding this event in the three links below: https://www.juniorachievement.org/web/ja-usa/home http://www.jacolorado.org/ http://www.jabowlathon.org/faf/home/...61A011DC7E1FA9 If you would like to contribute to this fund raiser to help our next generation, please click on the link below: http://www.jabowlathon.org/faf/donor...upId=404196875 As always thanks. I did JA when in high school and we use to build aluminum hangers and we sold them for $1 each. I sponsor company was Alcoa, thus the AL hangers. I was top sales person two years in a row. I still have about 20 of those hanges in my closet today. I was a great program and I learned lots about doing business and manufacturing and such.
I never see the program around me, so I was not sure if they even did it anymore. There are very few programs which I feel really bring value to kids JA is one of them, and Scouting is another program that kids learn so much that they can carry through their entire life. |

Thank you for sharing your success story. I am with you. JA helps kids come away with valuable tools for the real world. JA teaches our kids valuable knowledge that our education system lacks otherwise. In my opinion Junior Achievement is essential to many of these kids. |
