Born on 7/17 @12:28 AM. It was a wild ride. First contractions started around 11pm on 7/16. We rushed to the hospital and barely made it. We were in my wife's X5 and water broke as we arrived. Luckily she was Johnny on the spot and brought a towel to sit on. Baby was coming quick. They called a code M and security came with the wheel chair. I went to park the car because we left it running in the fire lane. When I got to the room baby Andrew had already arrived. I guess he wanted out. We are so happy and thankful. The staff at St. Francis in Hartford was the best. Very professional and they took it all in stride like just another day in the office. It was amazing. Mommy and baby are doing fine. Will post pics of mommy later.

Congrats to you both, especially Mom!
I wish you patience and always take care of your wife, because no matter how much you can help her with the baby, Mommy will always do more than you. And who is gonna take care of Mommy? Therefore Your wife will always appreciate you taking care of her while she sacrifices herself for the baby. Last edited by DrivenByE30; 07-18-2015 at 06:59 PM.. |

Congrats!
**EDIT** Just noticed that your little bundle of joy is only less than 24 hours younger than another forum member's... Trippy!

Thank you!
Thanks! He looks like an Andrew for sure! Yes - maybe a future race car driver. Or actually that might be my daughter. Thank you sir! Quote:

The funny thing is I was supposed to be at the track yesterday and today. I was waiting until the last possible day to register and asked the wife Wed night what she thought. She said go for it because she felt fine and her due date was still 3 weeks away. That sure changed in a hurry.
