What about the roads?
Whats the estate of the roads in your country? Location? Where you live? Where you use the car?
I start. In hungary its medium, lot of pot-hole but fortunately some good chapter where I can really drive. |

Roads in california are full of traffic. Location of traffic is anywhere you go. Where i live is full of traffic. Where i use my car is even more traffic.
Basically, theres a lot of traffic. |

Since roads in the U.S. are handled by the state and not the federal government, they vary drastically.
In Michigan they were all bad. Poorly patched potholes, and teeth rattling bumps. In Phoenix, the freeways are AMAZING. Smooth, banked asphalt on-ramps The surface streets are hit or miss. Depends on how torn up due to construction.

I live in Atlanta, GA.
Pros: Roads here are smooth as glass. Hardly any potholes. Great mix of twisty back country 2 lane roads and high speed 8 lane major highways. Cons: Crazy traffic during rush hour. Idiot drivers who have no idea what blinkers are for. It is infinitely better then the roads back in NYC and Long Island. (crazy swerving in my e46 with 19's and a drop. |

You can max out your lambo on just about any of the freeways in my state except the I-10.. Most freeways are smooth silent 3-4 lanes each way.. Surface streets depending on part of town are for the most part smooth and flat and 2 lanes each way sometimes 3. In think our surface streets are better than CA freeways at least I think you can go faster safer on them.

In Québec, Canada you would think you are on the moon. Bad road system, potholes the size of cars (during spring some cars get swallowed by potholes). You know you have reached Ontario, Vermont, or New York State when your teeth stop rattling.

This year/winter is actually the worst condition I have ever seen Cleveland and Cleveland suburb roads in. They are almost all in shambles. Like every road is on it's last leg and each city keeps trying to milk another couple years out of them. It's to the point of almost being embarrassing. Not only is Cleveland considered a shitty place in the rust belt but now the roads are even starting to reflect that image.
Once the business I'm in takes a downward swing I'm definitely moving the family south for sure.

I second that, darkcloud. I think I-80 is the last good highway near Cleveland. I don't know how many teeth chattering craters I've hit or managed to avoid this year. The pot holes are definitely worse this year than at any other time. I've seen many road imperfections, but some of what I've seen this year are near absences of road more than it merely being a pot hole.

Many of the local roads here are terrible with bad tramlining, joints but still better than PA. PAs are a tragedy. Most of I-295 is nice as is the NJ Turnpike but traffic can be a bear. The AC Expressway should be made speed limitless, it is beautiful.

It all depends out here in California. I drove 5 north from Castaic to Stockton over the weekend. Some areas were great for cruising 90-100 (I killed SO MANY bugs) and others were bone jarring divits and ruts, and some holes that had to be 3 feet in diameter right in the central traffic path. At least it kept me awake trying to dodge them.
