Anyone own a Polaris RZR?

I've ridden atvs for years, but now I'm ready to try out side by sides. Went to the dealership to look at the rangers. Then we saw the RZRs and decided that was the way to go. Will be ridding on east coast trails. Looking for any advice on buying or ownership thanks!

Currently looking at a few used ones. This is my favorite!

Get on a few forums and do some research. There are a few years to avoid! Many issues. If I were you, i'd go for a can am Maverick.

I rented one when at the dunes on the Oregon Coast... so much fun!!! I'd get one if I had the garage space to store one.

I love my dirt bikes with the 4 acres we have, but one of those machines require lots of space! The nearest trails around here are 3+ hours away

how many acres do you need. I was looking at 7.5 acres that's only 10 minutes from work but 30 minutes to the interstate but, theres 14 acres for the same price 10 minutes further out.

Its such a big vehicle and the speeds you reach make it reasonable for 5-10+ acres at least IMO. Who's to say you cant use it with 1 acre though...

Ohh and 14 acre lot FTW!

My best friend has the RZR turbo 1000. I've put about 6 hrs on it myself. It's great fun. Of all the years I've spent In the dunes, sand rails, dirt bikes, quads, it's by far the most fun thing I've ever ridden in or driven. The CV joints are weak and not warrantied, that's pretty much the only complaint. I've seen people actually bring extras with them on trips out to pismo and Glamis.

Thanks for all the input guys! Looked at the other brands last night and still like the rzr the most. Luckily my grandparents were dairy farmers so we have miles of farmland to ride on with a lot of old logging trails.
