The driver is part os a race club, according to a few things I read this AM on this. I wonder if it is a prepped 1/4 mile car. The article also says that the car has the ability to disable the brake lights...

IF only his rear roll bar had a diagonal cross brace like - almost all roll cages have. I bet his next car will have a cage "upgrade".

Still that was a spectacular crash. I wonder what the cause was? Brakes or a broken suspension ? That runway was awfully short too.

OK guys, police chase 101: you need to lose them IMMEDIATELY otherwise it's all over because every second they have eyes on you other units will be headed your way as they give updates over the radio. But don't run, it's not worth it unless you've already committed a serious crime.

Yeah, you sure sound like you have a lot of experience with that. In reality what you better have is a decent VISIBILITY, good driver, good road surface, tires, suspension. Downforce doesn't matter for shit in this case and it will only slow your roll to 208 since you're only gonna get there going in a straight line.
