BMW Hartge E90 V10 the real machine

Funny enough people only talk about the M3'S and the 335'S but I haven't really heard anyone talking about the Hartge line of BMW'S. For those who don't know, Hartge is a BMW tuning company like Honda's Mugen and their speciality is more on the horse power side of things, not the cosmetics upgrades like Amuse and AC. Check out the video, I need not say anymore:

yea i know it's a great machine, but how practical is it when the cost of the car is well beyond a well equiped M3 or the Alpina B3?

For the things you do with the V10 E90, you can probably get an M5, then why don't just go straight toward the M5 instead?

You never hear anyone talking about it because there's no point in fantasizing about something you will never see, or drive or be able to afford in real life.

Doesn't this thing cost as much as a GT2/F430? Why would you ever want to waste money on one?

You never hear about the V10 E90 form Hartge because it's totally impractical considering it's cost in comparison to all the far superior cars that cost about the same as it. So hmm lets see..........a now improperly balanced 3 series with some Hartge tinsel here and there, or a real M5, F430, Gallardo, GT3, 997 Turbo, and so on. . . . . geeeee I wonder.

LOL yeah. The only reason anyone would buy this car is for the 'wow' factor, and of course it'll be parked in between the owner's Enzo and Murcielago.

If you think Amuse is only good for cosmetics for Hondas, you my friend are sadly mistaken.

Think about the possibilities. The look on the face of the poor bastard in a Civic/STI/M3 or even M5 that thinks he stands a chance against your measly 335i.... Than BAM! ...Mnnn, or the look on the Dealer's face when they open the hood... Or the cop who makes a silly attempt at pulling you over in their Impalas.... I want one all over again.... I'm going to go trade my measly stocks now

There's actually been multiple topics discussing this car. I even posted one about it waaaaaaaay back. It's just a bad idea for the price.

there are too many ways to do this. Get a second hand civic and mod the shxt out of it so it becomes a rocket. Now, at this point, anything in the bracket beyond the civic will all fit in the wow category.

wouldn't that be more satisfying and cost only a fraction of what the V10 E90 cost?

Its only M5 fast. . . which isn't supercar fast, which means your not nearly as fast as or as nimble as a 1000cc sport bike, which means you'd probably have a hard time running through traffic, against helicopters, other squad cars ahead on the road, or cops on bikes, which means you'd probably get caught. And unless your an awesome bike rider with balls, or an amazing driver with even more balls then the guy on the bike, then none of the above would happen.

An M5 is as fast/faster than an F430 from a roll.

I didnt say the above. Please read my post properly. Amuse is mostly cosmetics; they do headers, intake, full exhaust system that's about it. I didn't see anything else on their website. Correct me if i'm wrong
