Oh BS

BMW Northwest, Tacoma, WA

I wouldn't take my car there if it was 10 feet down the road from me, nor EVER buy a car from them. Their principle is a dirt bag. I have had the privilege of him swearing at me on the phone in German accented English.. all because his sales staff lied to me. Yeah. Dirt bag.

How the mighty have fallen.

Bob Smith in Calabasas used to be on that list, and once topped it. For the last 2 years it's gone, even as its neighboring dealerships get honored. It probably doesn't help that Bob Smith has squeezed its SAs and fired its sales staff several times in the last few years.

I laugh at the dealerships in SWFL when they tell me things like there's no change in a m235i and a m240i, or that every M2 in the nation has a "market adjustment," and they their 5 grand is lowest in the nation. The salesmen here literally don't have to know their product when there are 80 year old snow birds driving m6's because they just wanted the most expensive 6 series. It's so easy to bs and make money down here for the dealerships.

This isn't a plug by any means, as I normally buy my ///M cars from David Aviles. I purchased my M4 from Coggin BMW in Treasure Coast, FL, and must say that I was surprised that I sourced my car from a Florida dealership, as my past experiences in dealing with them were absolute nightmares. I'm in South Florida, and how dealers like Vista BMW and Braman BMW sell cars is beyond me. They price gouge like crazy!

Coggin BMW on the other hand gave me an offer that I couldn't turn down and the customer service was absolutely wonderful. Again, a huge surprise to me that I would be posting a positive review of a Florida BMW dealer.

With that being said though, how did Steve Thomas BMW not make this list? They are top notch and deserve to be on it!

Try Melbourne or Coggin. Stay away from Braman and Naples if you are looking for reasonable pricing. That said, you can order anywhere and pick up the car in SC (PCD). It's a day's drive home.

Finding a deal isn't that hard if you are willing to cast a wide net (particularly on an M4). You can easily bypass local dealers. It is post-sales service / maintenance where the South Florida dealers really suck. The service at Braman WPB in particular is absurd.

Congrats to the dealers that made the list and any of their employees that happen to see this thread.

I get service done in Naples because Ft Myers is just a hot garbage dealership. The service department in Naples is good, but again overpriced as well. I generally buy parts from other dealers and just pay labor.

Don't read too much into this list. it's more about who can follow BMW's ever changing rules the best, not who treats their clients the best.
