my BMW designs
I am a graphics designer in Turkey and I'm a 25 years old .BMW designing biggest passion for me. I dont like other car manufactorers designs.BMW is always diffrent and special for me. So I want to send my last BMW coupe design project to you.I hope you like them.
This design insprated from 1970 - 1980's BMW sharknose designes.Especially from e21,e23,e30 BMW coupes. And I want to reinvented old BMW's soul in this design .. |

Red one reminds me to much of a mustang. Like the first few pics tho! The last few the back spoiler is huge! Needs one of the X6 rear roundels lol. Good work!

hmmm..nice effort dude but me thinks its a bit too busy upfront..and the shark nose design is definitely ol' skool but its the opposite slant in the designs nowadays..for aerodynamic reasons of course..any other sketches man??i'm no designer but have always dreamt of being one..i save lives instead nowadays hehe..

I do have to tell you that you are getting really close to a balanced project there.
Your proportions need to be worked out, needs a little more distance between the wheels, you need to put the wheels inside the car a little more,... and over all it looks like a good exercise, I'd recommend you to keep searching ideas, the front looks too busy, but the idea is good, you are merging old and new very well, but as the saying goes "size does matter",... headlights too big, grilles too small,... check that and I think you have a good idea, same in the rear lights,... probably a little less stretching and the spoiler,.... a little lower and narrower. Those are my thoughts,... I think you have good perspective and very good skills,... what software are you using???

I like it except for the grilles and the really large trunk spoiler. But they are very nice concept drawing so kudos to that!

You are missing the Hofmeister kink at the c pillars. The black void around the headlights is distracting and a bit heavy handed. Looks a bit like a futuristic Pontiac Firebird.

If I upload a sketch, would you render it?
That'd be awesome. I don't know how to render......but I do know how to sketch well.

I'd love to know how to render. I'd ditch photoshopping and turn my sketches into renderings.

Ok so here's a little sketch of what I think could be a facelifted e92 (not completely finished). If you could, would you try rendering it? It's a bit bland, and I could make a better one with lighting and shading if you want, and even scan it (this is a crappy BB Pearl pic) if you need me to.

That's pretty neat. I've noticed from the new MB CSL tail light design forward, many designers strive to continue the body lines into the tail light. I see how you try to continue the lines into the bumper above and below.
I do agree that the concepts look a little Mustang like, especially with the front quarter view. |
