Yeah...I can't believe you left out Porsche.
So I voted for four other brands just to screw with your poll till you post one that actually includes high end cars. I was surprised I could vote for more than one option. I recommend all other posters try this as well. Have to do it on the first vote though... |

Favorite car that I have owned so far would be my E93 out of pure driving pleasure.
Most complimented/asked about car was my blacked out G35. Also had the most issues and was in the shop constantly. Most reliable and tech savvy car was my Lexus IS350....LOVED that car, but my e93 though.....doesn't have GPS, doesn't have USB radio, doesn't have heated seats......and honestly I don't miss any of those things; I simply love my 335i. The IS350 was crazy fast and was a precision driving machine, was cheap to maintain, never had any mechanical issues and the seats felt like recliners. |

Favorite car I have leased / owned is current M4.
Least problems was a 2011 A6. Actually never had a single problem with it in about a year and 1/2 until a shit head hit me in a hit and run accident and I got rid of the car after that. The S4 that followed and my current M4 are tied for second. Longest ownership was a 1998 Lexus GS. Minimal problems early on but started having issues around 100K miles, including an expensive ac repair. Worst car I ever owned was a 2008 Lexus LS which was one problem after another - ironic since I got it to be problem free. Went to Audi after that and now BMW. Stopped worrying about quality reputation and prioritized what I wanted. I drove Lexus for 17 years. It was mostly problem free until the LS. However, my experience has been they are no better than Audi / BMW quality-wise in the first few years of ownership. My wife's Q5 will be 7 years old this August and has been at least as reliable as her 1999 Lexus RX so far (other than air bag recalls). We have an extended warranty for 2 more years on it just in case...

Read title got excited, then I saw the list. Disappointed.
Don't really care for any of the newer BMWs so thats out. Hate Lexus, Mercedes is meh, Audis are all starting to look exactly the same, I can hardly tell an A3 from an A4 from an A6 these days. So that leaves Jag and Caddy. My perfect pair would be the new CT6 as a cruiser and an F-Type for my weekend car. Although I dunno how reliable Jags are. Aston and Maserati I would say don't belong on a list with the rest of them, however Maserati is really trying to down grade their brand making a bunch of crap to compete with the BMW and Mercedes. Never liked Maserati, hate them more now. I LOVE the look of the Aston Martins, would take a vantage over any of the others, but again, doesn't belong on that list. |
