Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2018 Gallery
Perhaps I am getting a little jaded. This year's Concorso d’Eleganza wasn't as special as past events. This makes it my fifth straight year attending the Concours. But I still found it special. I was kind of disappointed that BMW didn't show us anything really new. Traveling to Lake Como is always a nice trip... but seeing the special concepts from BMW AG make it even more special to me. But this year was not to be.
Nevertheless I did enjoy my time at the show... looking at multi million dollar cars that only the very select few get to drive. I do thank them for showing us these cars... and the ambiance of Lake Como is a one of a kind venue. You only have to smell the exotic plants in this region to know how special Lake Como is. As always... there is a ton of photos here. All are from the BMW photographers at the concours. The scale of this show is mind blowing. Some 260 BMW Classic employee's and so much planning that's involved with this show. And then the logistics of transporting these rare classic's to Villa Erste. So grab a cup of your favorite beverage and come scroll with me. The photos are in no particular order. Enjoy BMW AG's photos - guys... BMW were nice enough to share them with us, here on BP. Dackel

Outstanding photos.
I reckon BMW Group's priority this year was showing off it's two new Rollers. I know sound like a pleb, but how does one go about attending this show? Is it private or can one buy a ticket? It is definitely on my vacation bucket list. |

Nice share and beautiful locale - thx!
However that bizarre chevy-escalade-roller weird-ass SUV thing-a-majig has me gagging! Personally find it's exterior incredibly ugly and still cannot quite believe it is a Rolls Royce - very strange - adding suicide doors does not make up for its ugliness !

The Rolls is an abomination. Can't believe they couldn't come up with a better design using the ghost front end or something.

What is that red car below the door-less car? I don't recognize it

Thanks as always for taking us along! Beautiful shots and cars (and yes, #19 as well).
I have to say the RR SUV looks like a brick. I really don't understand that car, but clearly I don't need to.
