San Diego Beaches Booze Ban. WTF???
For the past 6 or 7 years I've spent 4th of July on a beach. You can not deny the amount of ass (excuse me, ladies) you see there. It's THE place to be on 4th of July, no matter how packed and roudy it is. You want eye candy? Go there... at least this is how it used to be.
Now, San Diego introduced a complete alcohol ban on the city beaches. No alcohol. Period. And today I see this: As for disguised booze, that won't work in Del Mar this weekend. Lifeguards there are testing an $800 device called a “passive alcohol sensor,” which looks like a flashlight and can detect alcohol fumes in a crowd, cooler or cup. Source: San Diego Union Tribune http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/m...99-1n3ban.html Sorry, but this sucks. You can not even have couple of beers now!
