We do maintenance on planes all the time that are armed.

You have to one up this guy in Belgium then to make him feel better about his poor choices in life.
Next time you're doing the maintenance on a fully armed fighter, just ripple a few missiles off the wings - that should upstage this guy no problem. |

Sure but the first action/thing is to apply all kinds of safetypins/gear etc on the armaments right?
I wonder if, because safety with armaments is always so important, the lineup of planes at a hangar or airfield isnt layed out in such a way that aircraft are never parked in eachothers line of fire? Thats how I would design the layout of an airforce compound at least.
