Opinion JOHN WORKS EDITION MINI COOPER
Hey guys the GF needs a new vehicle and wants a mini cooper so I called over to our mini dealer ( I work for a large chain of dealers) and started asking what models, pricing etc..then out of the blue the client advisor says wait I have a john works edition that is 30k but the residual is 81% so its cheaper than a regular cooper to me it seems like a no brainer plus then I have a new toy it comes with brembo's, sport exhaust and turbocharged 208 HP engine!!!!

Awesome car. I heard one of those driving by and the blow-off valve sounded amazing! So is it an '08?

do it! i'm in the market for a MCS. there's a red JCW sitting at my local dealership. mark up is $3,500 on that sucker though.
81% residual? holy crap! is that on a 12k mile 3 year lease?

I have had my astro black MCS for about 4 months and love it. The only reason I did not get the JCW is the price compared to doing the mods myself and getting more hp with aftermarket. All I have done so for is Eibachs. It was an emergency mod because stock the MCS sits up like a tractor.
One tip for you. I love sunroofs but they (2) add weight and do not block the sun. The screen is mesh. I did make some screens of my own to fit between the glass and the mesh. The lease payment was great too for a 26K car. Getting 28.4 mpg in the city. Look at www.northamericanmotoring.com Bottom line...get it or a non JCW turbo and you can't go wrong. And be careful going over dips at speed. The little rascal feels like it is going to go air born.

Is this close to what you are looking at? My second color choice.
2nd pic sums up the best thing about driving a Mini.

^The RF's on mine blow. Hard, heavy and little grip. They are coming off asap. The cars do make some noise and the ride is not Lexus like for sure.
