Exclamation look wtf rolled through today at South Bay BMW

I'm picking up my car from service which took a half hour , Im waiting outside and I hear this wild ass sound coming from the back of the building.

This dude comings flying around the corner and... its a Dark grey GT-R! omg I almost sh*t myself everybody looked at me like i was crazy (or bc im black, yelling thats F*ckng tight)

So dude driving it sees me gawking smiles and rips it again
and parks. I ran over to get a quick interview. Two bmw techs get out the pass. is blown away says thanks for the ride. "Yo who's car is this?" I ask, "It's my buddy's he wants me to de-badge it and put the skyline badge."

This car is undoubtedly one of the most amazing machines out right now, first time ive seen it in person. Everybody who hasn't seen one, I feel bad for you.

On the other hand on my way to drop my car off in the morning I happened to catch a new A4. Im sorry but this car is a JOKE! Looks like they stole the wheels from mitsu.

Dude, my mom's bf is picking that car up (might already have, I haven't talked to him for the past two days). Can you agree with me and say that pics do NOT do that color justice? That's the color he's getting, and I think it's badass.

As for the A4, you can see a million of the new ones all over Europe (especially in Munich, go figure), and I think it's really color dependent. It looks great in white or dark "meteor" grey, but that's about it imo.

A little blasphemous to take the GT-R badge off and put on the lesser Skyline badge. Even though that is what everyone identifies with the car, the Skyline was just the base model, and the GT-R badge is what represented the racing heritage and performance upgrades.

Anyways, its not my car. So I hope he is happy with it. I'll admit seeing the signature S K Y L I N E across the back of the car would aesthetically look cool. But in this regard it couldn't be further from what the car actually is.

Oh and that A4 doesn't even have the xenon headlights with the improved LED running lights. Those are the worst wheels you can get for the A4 too.

Yeah if I had a choice it would be the Dark Grey, its sooooo damn sexxy from a distance/upclose.

I dont care if the car is color dependant, IMO the car overall appearance wise, is just booooooooring and . I dont care if it was decked out, the lines just make me laugh and the tailights are hideous too.

Yeah when he said what he had planned I was thinking "why?" leave that hotass car the way it is or get shot.

Oh and on the way home a white R34 v-spec SKYLINE flew by on hawthorne blvd, just remembered that.. Damn it was a good day

I saw one in person last week. Great performance machine but I think the only thing uglier is seeing it in person.

You're definitely crazy,

More amazing than the Scuderia? I think not.

I know I'm in the minority here, but the GTR does nothing for me. It has no pizzazz. No soul. Nissan needs a bunch of new design engineers.

I'm not sure if I agree that the car has no soul. There is alot of heritage and history behind the GT-R badge. Its just normal poeple in the states don't realise it because the car was never sold here before.

Besides, is there really any logical way of determining if a car has soul? I would think that it would depend more on the quirkiness of the owners of said car than the car itself.

As stupid as it sounds, I think there sorta is a way. If a car makes you feel, I dunno, something special, if it really grabs your attention and the drive keeps you excited through and through, then I think it has soul.

By soul, I meant in terms of overall appeal. It just doesn't say anything to me. I look at it (I have seen it in person) and I've tried to find something about it that I like about the looks. And it's just like an ugly fat chick.

Much better in person, noticed the car instantly driving in the opposite direction. Car is huge, with those lines (good or bad) it really stands out.

Unfortunately, by this definition... the soul of a car will be different every time someone different drives it. Meaning it is a very personal criteria in which to judge. So again, it isn't so much about the car itself.. more about the driver.

Yea I saw a skyline gtr on a transport truck. It definitely looked aggressive in person. But what was funny was the cars that were with the transport truck.
