TVs and Monitors

Do you think it’s better to have three smaller monitors or one big TV? Maybe a curved Samsung 65”?

3 x 24" would be good, with a big TV, you'll be moving your head up and down a lot, with the monitors just side to side.

all kinds of imaginable configurations you can go with these days - really depends on your primary use

-spreadsheets?
-design?
-gaming?

I like the idea of a large curved monitor but have not used one.

Also like the idea of having one monitor setup vertically alongside a horizontal setup.

I think the 3 wide monitors is useless and looks odd. Go for an ultrawide if you want to see out both sides of the car at the same time, and then have a badass monitor for multitasking. The 3 monitors is just meh, more cables, more power supplies, and the edges of the monitors breaks up the image.

I REALLY like playing sims in VR, if you're chasing ultra-realism then it doesn't get better than being able to physically turn your head and seeing a car beside you. VR headsets can be had for $400 NEW nowadays. I often switch between my 1440p curved monitor and my Oculus. If you're going single ultrawide, curved is the only way to go. I always knocked on curved monitors until I tried one, and I'm hooked.

I wouldn’t mind VR, but I’m pretty sure I’d need a separate one for PS4 and for PC.

A curved 65" or any TV isn't really optimized for the hardware you're probably going to run on the PC. You have to look at the Hz or refresh rate and MS. It's like buying a supercharger kit, but running stock exhaust lol.

I like the ultra wide monitors, but only thing is that the height is usually shorter opposed to say 3 24" monitors.
