its my first ticket ever but im really pissed because my buddy fell on his R6 and i was following him to make sure he got home ok and he saw that. and i pay almost 3 grand a year on my 545i and my mazda insurance is gonna suck now...

what city did you get the ticket in? If you have to go to Cleveland Muni fight that. The cop more then likely won't show or if he does you'll be able to plead down to a non-points violation

i got it in richfield in summit county. the cop was being a dick too we asked to see the radar and he was like whats it matter. we were like we want to see it, and for a second he wasnt going to show us the radar. after that he was like i saw you guys slow down anyways and we slowed down to pull into the gas station because my buddy needed to fill his bike to get home, thats the only time we ever slowed down. also on the ticket he wrote that he paced us, which is not possible because there were no cars behind me until i pulled into the gas station. there were two cops there the one was doing nothing. as we were getting our tickets this beefed up mustang flies by and the cop that was doing nothing just sat there. i looked at my buddy and said out loud "i cant believe it."

Plead not guilty! Fight the ticket in court, hopefully the cop will not show up. If he does you can ask the judge for traffic school and most of the time the fee is less.

Still fight it. If you have the time to get down to Summit county courts twice that is. once to plead not guilty, another for the actual court date when the cop has to show up or the case is dropped.

There is no such thing as traffic school in ohio. You can only take it once and only to keep your license from being suspended, not just to avoid points. If you want to avoid points you go to court and get the cop to plead you down to a non-points offense. Summit and Cuyahoga county courts are push overs, they just want the fine money and could care less about the point system.

yeah my buddy is going to talk to his lawyer. we have a receipt from the gas that he put in his bike at the time we got the tickets and he is going to take his bike to court that day

No real need for a lawyer. The judge won't care about your buddies bike. He won't even swivel in his big leather chair.

I understand how you feel about the ticket but it's your word versus a cops. The judge won't give you the time of day to explain your story as to why you wouldn't be speeding, which even your story doesn't say why you "couldn't" have been speeding.

Just plead not guilty and go to the 2nd court date and if the cop shows up plead down to a lesser offense involving no points.

I never really wondered through this area until my wife and I bought out here. I know where about 10 important things are and that's it

I live on Cabrini Ln. Look for the SG 325i tinted with Euros and blacklines and that's me. I don't see many SG's tinted either so that alone makes me stand out.

I just looked up demitrios. No i prolly didn't see it. I don't drive past pleasant valley south that often. Maybe once every 2 weeks to make it to the barber I go to by bone yard.

you know i think ive seen you down in Sagamore(sp) Hills at a big shopping plaza. do you have BBS's on on your car and some type of trunk finisher? you should be about to see me around i have a Silvergray 545i Sport.

Demetrio's (sp) is on Broadview Road and Sprague Road.

That probably wasn't me. I used to have BBS's but I sold them early this spring. The ones in my sig. I have 161's on the car now and I'm about to dump those as well.

I'll keep an eye out but I don't really drive in the area much. A couple other BMW's gave me friendly wave's or beam flashes which was kinda odd. We don't drive jeep's

oh ok thats someone else then. that E46 was for sale about 6 weeks ago, i was just wondering if you saw it. if i see you im going to wave and flash my beams, then that will be really old haha. oh if you ever pass the Boneyard restaurant and see a E60, E39 and E34 BMWs that me and my buddies.

This is true. But the cops don't like showing up in Ohio. I've fought about 5 or 6 tickets now and not once has a cop actually shown. Case dismissed every time.
