after a long time without any race these back to back races taste quite good isnt it..

I really wonder how and from where they would get a 13km/h higher top-speed ?

Not only are they quick but lately ruthless with it (bumping out Alex) and Wolff smarmy with his 'expect Red Bull response within four days' quip.
Coincides with Bottas's after race response that getting past Max was easier than he thought knowing he was down on aero anyway.Don't worry my friend it's all a mind game of eyebrow beating the opposition, nothing new.

My friend I bet ! That the Merc game will change in Silverstone by 44 "VS" 77 !
As we know : Bottas can't (may not) be the new '20 World Champion !

For now their top speed advantage is minimised by the short straight at the Hungaroring and the quite bendy nature of the track won't give das a great advantage. We know their engine doesn't like heatwave conditions and they had it lucky with the cool weather at the Styrian event.

Even your weather forecast is falling into favour with them with predicted 24-26C temps for the GP weekend there, the only thing is with it being traditionally windy there will hopefully 'rain' on their parade

Yeah I know my friend . The Hungaroring suits better for the RB16 .
But I'm sure the dominance will come from the Mercs again .

Last night I was reading a Dutch article regarding the '20 F1 telemetry :
Red Bull and Honda-Japan noticed that the Mercs Party-Mode is more powerful than they were thinking ...

According the telemetry the Mercs Party-Mode is pushing "160+ HP" more than the RB16 !
That's why they can run with a 13 km/h higher top-speed . In qualifying the RB16 makes actually no chance at all , by the power they are coming faster out the corners ...
Regarding the DAS advantage we already know ...

Red Bull noticed also that Mercs are running lighter :
The Mercs engine consumes less of fuel . This means the Merc can run lighter with less of fuel in the fuel tank .

The current situation sounds not good my friend....

My UKM5 and MBelgium friends -
As you said, just a wheel nut or a botched tire change or any small issue could level the playing field....I'm thinking about the ebb and flow of racing fortunes and how it can change everything; remember in 2016 when HAM had a ton of DNF's due to engine, etc....and ROS capitalized on HAM's misfortunes....I forsee HONDA bringing power updates to RB and Newey continuing to pull tricks out of his bag of excellence.

Right and without the engine failure 16 laps from winning the Malaysian Grand Prix, he wins the 2016 title. He still had more wins that year, but just one more retirement than ROS.

comparing with retirements is the half of the story of 2016.. Hamilton had at least 5 additional problems in 2016.. 2-3 of them was ERS made him no chance to fight for the pole and few ended up as a grid penalty.. actually one of them he started somewhere between 20-22 the other one as far as i remember he couldnt lap on Q3 made him start on 9-10th at least.. engine fault at Nurburg, hydraulics or something else problem in one of the free practices took him off.. as far as i remember that was a comparison that 8 Merc' engined cars were around and only Hamilton's were faulty among more than 40 engines cause like in Malaysia engine was brand new.. i guess 2016 was the unluckiest season of all for him.. did Rosberg win the tittle.. yes.. problems is a part of motorsports.. is there something to do with it no.. its over.. does Rosberg still around after the tittle, yes with a microphone not this year though..

i remember Rosberg changed his life style dramatically that year to concentrate.. this is what i believe.. im not sure he could do it again and he left.. you can double check this how he lost to Hamilton in early times as well..
