Says acoustic glass is added to the x3, pretty sure that's wrong. I was told it was removed which is consistent with the ordering and pricing guides I've seen. It it is still available I need to modify my order while I still can.

So guess this is the last year to get the current model 2 series Coupe. Would folks think me a bit cray if I said I'd be tempted to replace my 2018 M240 i with a 2021 if it looked like they did something really awful with the new 2 coupe? (No manual, 4cyl only, huge grill...) The awful digital dash and non round tail pipes are already 2 strikes.

It's definitely confusing.

German pre-LCI and LCI M5 brochures and price lists treat the Competition as a stand-alone model. Looking right now at the German configurator, there is only one M5 model and it literally says "Competition Paket" in the options list. So official pricing guides and configurators say different things.

X3 M and X3 M Competitions are separate variants. M8 is only available as "Competition" in some markets.

They really can't decide.

Also, that is a lot of options removed from the US-spec G30. Sheesh.

A lot of option removals to G30, either probably due to low demand or saving all those goodies to upsell you to an F90!

Didn't realize this was coming to the 3 series. Anyone have any experience in other BMW models with this technology?

*48-volt Mild Hybrid system has been added to M340i and M340i xDrive.

Nope. That is the only reason I would have upgraded so it looks like I will be keeping my 2018 530e for some time (between BMW OEM warranty and GEICO mechanical breakdown insurance I have a total of 7 years of warranty coverage).

Interestingly, they have increased the MSRP of the 530e by $3,300. No longer is it the same price as the 530i.

ON the M5 does this mean you can no longer order full black merino interior? so you have to get the beige alcanatara one?

Still sad the caramel interior is gone. That was the best

Of course the only one I have a vague interest in (M440i RWD) doesn't have a price yet.

Seems unusual if the ROTW are receiving it.

I've also noticed as popularity is growing the 'e' PHEVs are creeping up in price here in U.K. too.

Only the digital dash is true of the next G22. Personably isn't wait it out.

Actually for 2021 the comp models throughout the lineup have been moved to a package vs a standalone. A quick thumb through the 2021 order guides showed it is almost universally been reverted from standalone models

They're moving back to a competition package instead of separate competition models across the board it seems. I wonder if they'll get rid of the busy competition logo as well?

The only exception in the article is the M2C, which we know simply doesn't have a corresponding M2 right now and has an EOP date of 6/21, but this mentions replacing the competition models for the M8, M5, X3M, and X4M.

Notable changes in the M8. Night vision and Driving Assistance Package 2 removed from options list. Sonic speed blue color removed and Donington grey color added.

Never really understood the value of DAP 2. And to charge $1,700 for it too. Makes sense to remove it or just make it standard for a six figure cost car.

They also removed the competition as stand alone for x3/x4 & will be a competition package. I too am curious as to why the change.
