Caring for Open Pore Wood Trim

Hi,

My M340 has open pore wood interior trim. It has somewhat of a matte finish & really compliments the Cognac interior. Have thought about using some high quality wood furniture conditioner

Would appreciate thoughts on caring for the trim.

Thanks

I'm really not familiar with the trim on your car, mine is metal, but about once a year I put a light coat of mineral oil (basically lemon oil) on the rosewood fretboards of my guitars to keep them from drying out. It's what's used and recommended by many guitarists and guitar manufactures. Most fretboards are non treated, open pore rosewood. It doesn't change the color of the wood once it absorbs, just use sparingly.
