Noticed a small chip in the clear coat on my rims

when I was washing the car this past weekend. I have the 742M bi-color wheels and the chip is on the part of the spoke that just looks like aluminum. Not a huge deal b/c you can't see it from more than 1 or 2 feet away, but was wondering if anyone knew of an easy DIY fix. Don't want to have to resurface the whole wheel just for this.

I always keep my vehicles impeccable. But with this X5M and super sticky Michelin PS4S tires, I have some stone chips that have somehow managed to strike the wheels. Also the side skirts under the doors have a lot of stone chips. Car has less than 2K miles on it. I hate to see it at 25K miles.
I only bother to touch up the larger stone chips.

I never thought I'd feel this way, but it's just not worth the headache.

In your case, maybe just apply a bit of clear coat to the chip?
