Polisher recommendations

Looking to get a polisher, any good decent one you would recommend.
also would you go with wired or cordless?
thanks!

Was looking at this, decent reviews with extra battery... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SF6NSZN...v_ov_lig_dp_it

I have a Porter Cable 7424. It's kind of old school and corded but a great machine. Probably now I would look for a cordless model.

I have an Adams Swirl Killer 15 polisher and I love it. I do paint correction on cars and this machine is wonderful. It’s corded and that’s what I’d recommend as battery wouldn’t have enough life to do all panels on a car. Great price and quality.

After my Porter Cable DA polisher died, I went searching for a quality Long-Throw DA Polisher. Tons of research later I went to Harbor Freight and bought the:

Bauer 20mm Long Throw Random Orbit 6 inch DA polisher for $99.99.

In the last 4 months I’ve used it to restore the paint on 4 different vehicles. It is an amazing buy.

Enjoy!

Griot's has some decent ones, less expensive than Rupes. At least their first tier series are as I recall, less expensive that Rupes.

I have a G8 and G9

Just to add to this thread, Matt put out a good video on all the equip & tools he uses to polish. Yeah, he's Matt about it, but still good info:
