Will Brady retire today?
It seems that the party may be ending in Tampa, Tom Brady may be on retirement watch. After an amazing year statistically, will her go out following one of his best years? Does Tom leave Tampa with Gabbert and Flack to compete for the starting QB job? Will he be joining Big Ben in Canton on their first year of eligibility? It's going to be an interesting weekend for the NFL.

Will the Bucs go back to being the Suckaneers or will they have the gal and trade for Deshaun Watson/Aaron Rodgers/Russell Wilson? They’re in cap hell tho right?

I would agree, there is nothing left for Gronk to do either and it will make for a great weekend in Canton when they go in together.

In hindsight if you were Brady, would you have retired last season?

Hold the presses. Brady is now saying he hasn't made up his mind. Deflategate II is in full swing. Take the wind right of ESPN's sails.

Apparently Brady has a large ($15 million?) payout coming but he has to stay longer. One account said until Friday (4th I presume), another suggested a full season. We’ll see.
On a related note, since Florida seems to be a state people come to to retire, should TB pick Rothlisberger, Rogers, or someone else for their next QB? |

I was curious about the bonus but how much is enough? Besides, it's not like his wife is asking him for money, she has her own.

Sad to see him go, end of an Era. I don't think I will live long enough to see another QB perform at that level that long. Hell even my 7 year old son may not.
I wish he would have played a few more seasons...he obviously was playing great and putting up huge numbers. Then again there is no records he really needed(that matter). While he never talks about them I swear he cared about the all time passing yards. I think Gronk will be right behind him. Maybe he plays a year or two more but why? Risking injury or CTE is not worth it. He has the money, rings, and is a 1st ballet HOFer. He can 'retire' and just run his multiple businesses/investments.
