Who Else Does This
Even though it was raining this morning I just couldn't let another bit of brake dust build I'm on my wheels. Neighbor stopped and said "you know it's raining, right"?

Change your pad material to ceramic and this issues pretty much goes away.

I never specifically washed the wheels only, but I once washed my whole car during a downpour. It was actually a lot easier; it was raining so hard, rinsing was minimal.

I'd much rather wash in ran than Sun, just gotta be sure to pull it into a garage for the final dry so you avoid waterspots.
