the 997 GT3 engine takes only 30 minutes to be removed (and that its a modern car obviously)

well the thing is that those engines have a very small wiring harness, only 2 motor mounts, plus it looks like they had some kinda hook on the carb so they can put the pipe through it. Also the hood had no hinges, just the hook to latch on.

I have replaced a couple engines myself, and it takes a lot longer then 42 secs, but once you do it a couple times, its a lot faster then some of you might think. But mechanics usually like to charge for a lot of labor. Increasing the $$ for the repair.
