PPF Installer in DC area?

Brought home our 45e from PCD this week. And yes, rock chip on hood by the time we got it home, 500 miles. Life goes on.

Ordered the BMW Carbon Black touch up paint this morning.

I understand that the quality of the XPEL PPF is all about the installer. So looking for the best installer in the Maryland, DC, Virgina area, to get this done. Also, I understand there are 2 different thicknesses of XPEL available, any opinions there are appreciated.

My son does Paint correction, so he's going to cut and buff the paint, reducing the orange peel and addressing a few areas where the factory buffing was incomplete and marks/fading are evident in the paint on close inspection, prior to sending to PPF. He'll also do the ceramic once the car returns.

Im assuming I should look for the PFF installer that is going to do the right job with the chip repair as part of the PPF process, but please give me opinions if this is a poor idea.

Thanks!

I believe they do but they have great service reps that can confirm with a quick call.

I've used Speed & Tech. They're near Dulles airport. Here's their showcase thread.
