I watched that review yesterday. I'm anti EV, they just don't do shit for me and the CyberTruck is ugly as fuck....I immediately went and placed a reservation for a Beast Mode CT lol!
I dunno, I came to terms that as long as I have a fun ICE car or two that I can add something fun and dumb like that and yolo. It's cool. |

Looks like a giant fridge on wheels
I do think it's impressive from an engineering standpoint. But knowing Tesla's history with build quality and shitty materials quality, I don't have high hopes on this being much better. Also the interior is just straight depressing. Feels so cold and uninviting. And for fucks sake if you're going to force everything to be on the screen in the middle, can we at least get an HUD?

The tech is pretty cool but it looks like ass and as with other Tesla’s, build quality will be horrendous. Down the line prepare to give up your first-born if it needs service. I have no issue with an EV. My wife has one. Fits her use case but would NEVER buy a Tesla.

I was an EV hater. Ended up buying a used model 3 for shits and giggles at the start of covid out of boredom and now I'm an EV fan. I also still have my ICE fun car. |

That's not a review, it's an infomercial.

BUT, almost like you I dug into the Cyber Truck page on Tesla and almost placed an order for the 4-wheel drive model. It could replace my rust-bucket H3T, but so could a Ford Maverick... Still debating it. The thing in pretty cool (when you consider the engineering automotive technology of it)

I snickered at the Maverick when introduced. Changed my tune, for light duty usage. Possible beach house addition. The XLT Advanced Tremor with a front leveling kit would do the job. About 50-50 on dealers going msrp and those adding some bend over. $33,700 on the few I'm looking at. Advanced gives you power driver seat...my biggest need versus regular XLT. Fabric looks nice and tough and cooler than the leather in the Lariat.

Like you, for what I really use the H3T for an AWD Maverick would be a suitable replacement. The Cyber Truck would be massive overkill.

Man, that is such a hard sell on the EV industry's part, you have no idea.
