Looks pretty similar, Top one is better (IMO) But the Grilles on the Top One I prefer. Still playing the Waiting game for the fully released version!

Thinking the Touring will be the better looking model between the two. It’s not that I don’t like how this is shaping up…but something just seems off with it. Just like all BMWs of late, will need to see one in person to fully judge it.

The front looks reasonable enough. I have a low bar after some of the other aesthetic shenanigans with other models. But, BMW typically leaves the M5 with a fairly conservative design language.
That rear though seen in some of the other threads is a bit overwrought. But I doubt the overall look of the car will turn many off. There is another elephant in the room with which to contend. |

The space between the kidney grilles is much larger in the preview than it is in the render. Not seeing the triangular black area beside the air curtains in the preview, just looks like a shadow from the contour of the bumper. They also have them looking slightly angled, but in the preview it's more of a 90°. Same for the bottom part of the bumper.

I’ve more concerns about the Plug-in-hybrid than the looks of it. Definitely interested but like others will play the wait game

That looks awesome, I'm catching a ton of E60 M5 vibes. Unpopular opinion, but the last two generations of M5 were yawn-fests for me. This one looks the part.

The sketch photo and my screen shot of the video look like 2 different sketches. My screen shot shows added body line to the bumpers “side grills” and the lower grill looks different too imo. Bmw just likes to tease us… they’re gonna unveil it within a few weeks if the teasers are coming

Disproportionate side vents.
This render must be made before the blurred image reveal. It’s also a render that has many G series elements for the front bumper specifically, not modern looking enough for today’s age.
