Sunroof OR Carbon Fibre?

This is the least excited I have ever been to spec a car

The weight and stats (on paper) just are not speaking to me.
Anyweay, that is by the by.

I am speccing my G90.

I won't be taking it to the track, so the lower center of gravity (on such a heavy car) is not something that will really make a difference to me.

Would you spec the carbon pack which includes the roof or would you go for a glass roof instead?

Carbon would be my choice because I never open the roof, and I think it looks cooler.

for me the cf roof gives it a better looking stance...run two instances of the configurator and view them each and you will see it just looks better w/ the cf. The cf spoiler is bit bigger, too, which looks better/more proportioned. GL

I don't think you can open the G90 roof anyway...

I actually prefer that. But I'd still go carbon for the cool factor.

Then why are you even getting one? Seems strange to be ordering a $100k+ vehicle and not be excited about it… 🤷🏻‍♂️

You answered your question. Glass roof for you.

The resale value on this car will be higher with the carbon package, which would be one of my must-have items.

A number of reasons....

Primarily because there is cash in the business I need to write off, but also....
Because I can
Bragging rights
Etc.

I am still keeping the F90, so if I don't like the G90 I will not hesitate to flip it.

The few dollars difference in value is ridiculous to consider. These cars drop in value like crazy. Let alone this battery powered thing. Just watch and see how bad these things drop in 2-3 years. It will make you want to cry. Worse than ever. The idea of choosing one roof option over the other because of re sale is ridiculous. Just get what you like. You aren’t seeing that money back. So get it drive it. Enjoy it. Re sale/trade value is going to be abismal either way.

In total agreement with you.

However your more than valid points still do not help me to choose which roof I want!

delete both - add sunroof

Im bummed that the glass roof deletes the prior sunroof and no option to add one on . I have carbon roof on my 23 M5C , really miss opening the roof as is now - oh well
