New 2025 X5 M60i with extended Merino Package has a rattle that appears to come from the dashboard. Pressing on the trim, and everywhere along the dashboard, HUD, steering wheel, rearview mirror and surrounding areas does not stop the rattle. Tried different steering wheel positions, ac, etc., and no change.

Interestingly, it appears to be temperature dependent. When the temperature is 80 degrees (Fahrenheit) or higher the rattle is not heard. Unsure why that's the case.

Inquiring if anyone has had this issue on the newer model X5's and its resolution. The cowling under the hood that covers the brake fluid reservoir appears to make the same sound when tapped, but not sure.
