G90 MSRP discounts?

I see bunch of new G90’s that seem to be available all of a sudden, mostly HEA and a few customer back outs. I called a few to confirm availability. Is anyone getting some off msrp yet?

I’m waiting until early 2026 when my XM lease is almost up after the hype dies down and they’re into their second year. Will definitely be able to get a deal by then.

Highly unlikely any sub MSRP dealer profit loss deals are being gotten unless there is a manufacturer rebate or a CCA discount. Even at that you have to make sure its a clean deal without add ons or MF markup.

Nationally there are way more customers then cars available and those that are not presold will find owners as folks shop around looking for inventory. Many folks won't buy out of state and most people spending 120k on a car will get the exact spec they are looking for and not "okay dealer" spec car.

Let us know if you get any traction on a dealer discount, but it's too early in my opinion.

without the Covid hype that the dealers are trying to extend on any new model, the M5 is always a discounted car even at Launch
I ordered both F10 and F90 at launch and both were discounted around 7-10 %
I don't see why the G90 should be any different and in particular it seems less desirable because of the weight
so customers need to push back
dealers have 10-15 % margin below MSRP depending for the most part on the volume they do, so a 5-7% off should be doable

I got 4.5% off MSRP for the G90. Got about $7k off the F90 at launch.

Until allocations exceeds the wait list I fail to see why any dealership would discount.

That’s unreal for g90 but I’m expecting it very soon, too many avaible units sitting unclaim considering it’s only been a week and half since first deliveries..

I’m personally not getting any discount, my delivery is pending and the hea ones from my dealer flew off their lots like hot cakes on the first day.

I have one in production at MSRP. I've called about 15 dealers in the past week who had either either a HEA or ones in transit. None would go below MSRP. Two even said they got over MSRP for the two that already had arrived. Guess I must have a sucker voice on the phone. I just gave up because at the end of the day it's not worth the effort saving a few grand.

I think I could have done better, TBH.

I wasn't able to find the F90 locally at launch, but got it for $7k under MSRP one state over. I wasn't able to get a build slot for the G90 locally, but got one a couple of states over back in March. A couple of weeks ago, as things stalled a bit with the dealer I was working with, I reached out locally and found that there was one available at a dealer who had no build slots earlier in the year. A few days and we'd agreed on 4.5% below MSRP.

I think this car has much more launch availability than the F90. I was getting reach-outs from multiple dealers trying to move their cars when I pulled the trigger on the G90. I think dealers are over-estimating or over-stating demand and that some of them are willing to accept reality.

BMW hasn't gotten there yet; they will have a fuller picture of demand than any particular dealer does, quite soon, but we will see how they act on it once incentives and rebates are set for December.

There will be discounts. This car is not going to sell that well. I drove one, wanted to like it and it’s not it. Doesn’t even feel like a M car or anything close to it.

Best I was able to get was $3k off but I didn’t take it as the money factor was higher offsetting the discount on a lease and I wanted a specific color. Someone shared they got 9% off and some ridiculously low lease payments through a broker, you might have to search. It was a one off from what I remember. On the flip side, we hear more about markups now a days..

Usually if you want a discount then you have to take what is on the lot. Unlikely you find the perfect build and the perfect deal so it just depends on where you are willing to be flexible.

Great deal for now imo, my payment is 2250 for the same exact car but residual is 57%, and money factor is higher too. You’re also probably saving lease taxes by trading your car, so all in all great deal.
