OMG I know Exactly how you feel. You’re dying to get your hands on your straight from the factory mint condition BMW M5 lightning fast Ultimate driving machine.
I saw the photos of that pristine, gorgeous machine, the only Negative comment I can make is they clearly put the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car… Yes, I am an American. Best of luck with your New Beamer. |

Same colour just a different term.
I.e. Sophisto Grey in the UK whereas Dark Graphite elsewhere. I have sophisto Grey and Ivory extended in the X4MC and it truly is a great combo. The Sophisto almost looks to have green and pinks in metallics on close up, some heavy metallic in there. The colour change in different light / sun is excellent. A moody grey to a dark shadowy black almost. Pops in sun too. A friend upon seeing my X4MC recently ordered and took delivery of his 5 series I5 Msport in Sophisto and white interior. Looks real stealth and classy. Last edited by ajbM4cab; 12-10-2024 at 03:31 AM.. |

[It would probably make a lot of sense if ourselves, UK, Oz, Japan and the other small few remaining outposts for RHD cars made the switch. I know one country did an overnight switch (can’t recall which one) many years ago. Harder nowadays as roads, particularly Motorways/freeways have huge overhead gantrys with electronic signage pointing wrong way -were lane to be switched to other direction. They’d all have to be changed. Cost would be gigantic.]

Congratulations on your new M5!
Theres no tyre lottery on the M5. You have to order the "sport tyres" to get the Michelin Pilot Sport S 5. (picture shows the irish configurator)
