335i color conversion by white foil/tape
Okay, I thought this was genius!!! you could basically have a jet black 135i and you could put the 3M shiny white tape then you have AW!!!

Looks very cool, and there was a 135i owner on this board that did the exact same thing (post was about 6 months ago).
I wonder how washing that car will work, and how long you can keep a shine on it. I highly doubt you could wax it, and that film is far softer than the painted finish, so I would think it would scratch, pit, and dull very quickly. |

On my MINI, I have a black and white checkered roof and it is done by putting black 3m squares on the already white roof. It has held up pretty well for early 5 years and I wax it just like the rest of the car. It is not as durable as paint though and I wonder how it will work on the creases and corners.
