Z06 Could Barely Pull on Me?
I was behind a Z06 at a stoplight, it turned green he took off a bit fast and I went with him. At about 30mph he realized I was still there, so he hit it, I hit it, and he could barely pull on me. I was amazed. I'm sure he was a bit pissed that the sedan was stuck to his bumper. We got up to about 70 and both slowed up because we came up on traffic.
I'm running stock. |

I think he was wearing sandals and his left one got stuck under the throttle.
Seriously, no way he was WOT.

Stoplight drag races are never a good way to compare the performance of two cars. The Z06 probably just had a crappy driver. If you want to compare the two cars, read magazine road tests.

He was probably texting, eating some Arby's, and drinking a slurpee all the while trying to hit the throttle lightly and noticed you bugging him on his bumper.
If it was a new Z06 - he would've raped you so hard your future kids would've be born bow-legged. |

My last car was an '06 Z06, my current car a 335. The 335 is slug. If he was racing you he would have beaten you so bad your parents and grandparents would have felt it.

No, but my 335 is REALLY fast!! Just kidding.
I didn't think that I could stay that close. The ironic thing was is that I was on my way over to the Chevy dealer to look at Corvettes. |

There is no way any 335 or even moded M3 can keep up with Z06. Z06 is almost at super car terrotiry. I drove one once just after I drove M3 and it is not even close.
Probobly either the driver was talking to his girl friend or just wanted to make you happy |

Sure there are similar stories from owners of 350zs, g35s/g37s, mustang gts etc etc. about how they pulled on my 335i coupe. What they don't realize is I never noticed them or my car was not warmed up and I was not about to push it just to prove a point. Z06 will smoke a 335i!! C6 stock will smoke a 335i!!
