How much for 2009 C6 w/ GM bankrupt?
Anyone find good deals/incentives at the Chevy dealerships?
I'm wondering how much these C6's will end up selling for?

Bankrupt does not mean liquidation. GM is being reorganized to be a going concern, albeit a smaller one. Your best chance for a good deal would be at a dealership who is being forced to close.

Price $45,986 MSRP $52,385 Mileage 10 Here in Dallas. I don't know what their finance situation is or is going to be but I would think cash could do some serious negotiating. |

if i picked up a Z06, would be more likely to keep it stock, if I went with a C6 I'd probably mod it and end up spending the same amount in the long run.

^ Exactly. And even then the the Z06 has so much more built into it already. Dry sump/carbon etc.
Good tint and maybe some wheels and I would be done with a Z06. |

Hmmm.
The new Grand Sport models (Coupes and Convertibles) will fit between the standard coupes and convertibles and the Z06 in the Corvette lineup. The Grand Sport features the standard LS3 engine but uses the wider Z06 size wheels, tires, brakes and chassis. From a performance standpoint, the Grand Sport has better weight distribution and the wider Z06 tires significantly increase the models 0-60 times. While the base Corvette's 0-60 mph time is 4.3 seconds, the Corvette team thinks the new Grand Sport's time should be at 4.0 seconds but Tadge opened the door to the possibility that it could break the 4 second barrier. The models effectively replace the Z51 Performance Package by introducing the new Z52 package for the coupe which features the dry sump oil, differential cooler and the same higher gear ratios found on the Z51 package. |

^ Just the bonnet stripes I think. Heritage package?
The fish gills are so so but the rest makes for a sweet package IMO. Reports of a sub 4 second 0-60 w/ launch control. 2010 Z06 w/ launch control 3.65. Pricing is said to be around the current Z51 pkg. ![]() |

That is some badass news.
I wonder if the full GS appearance get-up will be available at all? I remember the first time I saw a GS when I was younger.... Stopped me in my tracks. Definitely one of the better looking cars I have ever come across, and that was saying something considering Vettes are a dime a dozen. |

Rclue,I don't think so.
Exterior colours are identical to those offered in the normal Corvettes. Moreover a Heritage package is available for the Grand Sport which consists of two-tone seats with Grand Sport embroidery and front fender hash marks that come in four colours. I think a white GS coupe will look good. Not a vert guy since my 98 M3 but I could do this white one. ![]() |

Hot off the presses.
The official pricing for the Grand Sport package has been released. Contrary to what was initially thought the pricing is not that high. For instance, the Grand Sport gives a $55,720 price tag for its coupe, and for its convertible it gives $59,530. These are a $6,205 and $5,360 increase in pricing, respectively. However, the Grand Sport pack basically precludes a need for the $1,695 Z51 package, so the $3,500-$4,500 boost goes to the retuned suspension, a wider body posture, Z06 stopping system, enhanced acceleration, and external and custom advantages. |
