As others have mentioned any of the Cirque Soleil shows, but I like the "O" Show the best.

I liked the Cirque du Soleil shows O at Belagio and Mystère at the Treasure Island. I have not seen Zumanity or their new show Love, but hear they are great also. If you like magicians I liked Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo too. The hottest tickets in town is Elton John when he is at Caesars, its probably a good show if you are in town when he is there and have an extra $125+ a ticket.

Definitely Cirque Du Soleil shows... I haven't seen "LOVE" it's new... it's not really a Cirque show (it is, but not like the others) it's basically some cirque-stunts with beatles music.
I've seen "O" twice... VERY AWESOME... water themed (make sure you spring for the $150 seats... the crappy seats you don't see anything. I've also seen "Ka" which is my current favorite... fire themed... not as stunt-oriented, but very intense still and an actual story-line. "Zumanity" is the "adult" themed cirque show... as my (female) friend put it... "Take a girl you like... you'll definitely get laid..." Hahahhahaa... "Mystere" I haven't seen... but it's the oldest (and cheapest) of the resident Cirque shows... I've heard it's really good also. "La Reve" I haven't seen either... but it's done by the same choreographer as a lot of the Cirque shows --it's not affiliated with Cirque du Soleil however... Also, the Celine Dion show... she's going to ending her show soon... the choreography was also done by the same Cirque guy... so I hear this is actually one of the best shows in Vegas --but I hate her music, so you probably won't catch me there... hahaa. For "O" if you stay at the Bellagio, you can get the better seats later. I recommend buying tickets for all these shows well in advance so you can avoid waiting for no-shows at will-call.

Just saw George Wallace at the Flamingo last week. pretty funny! he gave away $100 and a four day cruise at the end of the show to top it off. Fab Four at Aladdin was a cool show.
Check out Tix 2Nite or Tix 4 Tonite for good seats at 1/2 price to almost any show. Only catch, tix are for same nite, no advance purchase. Both have various locations around the strip. Good luck. PS. Venetian has a slot machine that gave away a BMW Z4 just as i sat down to try my luck. A guy from Rhode Island won it 15 mins before I got there!!!!! |
