Acura TL's are annoying

On my way home from work today, THREE seperate Acura TL's on seperate occaions rolled up next to me reving their engines at stop lights... for somereason it annoyed the hell out of me. Everytime it was some greasy guy wearing some shades w/ a very disturbing smirk on their faces. Haha i even get some civics and little hondas driving up to me trying ot race but on different days. However i do enjoy seeing M3's and S4's pullin up next to me. Even though it does make me feel slow . Have any of you gotten any cars trying to compete for the open road?

no offense, but you're hallucinating, your 330i is a dime in a dozen, it's nothing special, why would a guy in his M3 pull up next to you to race you?

I've had Ferraris and Maseratis pulled up to me on a daily basis, oh wait, I mean they just happen to be on the same road that I'm driving

I wish this happened to me. lol.

Im so bored with this car because mainly all the ricers won't try to provoke me anymore. when I used to drive my honda, every single car next to me would provoke me to race.

maybe I should start looking for some huge decal for the rear windshield that says "RICE FOR LIFE".

I think it's the demographic. A lot of guys that drive acuras probably go around wanting to race everybody.

Back when the E90 was new hotness and not such a common sight I had a TSX rev up next to me and I took the bait. I also almost crashed my car when some idiot cut across 3 lanes in front of me at about 1/2 the speed limit and pinned me up against a concrete median. The braking and stability control systems of my E90 saved my ass, but I can only imagine what kind of idiot I would be to have crashed my car trying to race some guy in a TSX... so I consider it a lucky warning and haven't done anything like it since.

Sometimes people rev thier engines next to my car in an attempt to provoke me. I am very use to it and it doesn't bother me. I don't care for such things like that. In some cases little toyotas try to provoke me at times knowing they can't win but they are just fuking envious.

This is especially true when I'm riding with a girl. Guys usually try to peak in when waiting on a intersection to see if she's fine. And of course she is!

People in TL's come up on 330 drivers trying to race them because it makes them know that their car is in some way superior. I would know, i've done it before. But before you make comments about TL drivers being envious, I might remind you that a lot of TL drivers can afford a 3-series anything. Head to AZine, we've got guys who have TL's and A8s, TL's and NSXs, TL's, and P-Cars & Ferraris. A lot of TL drivers drive TL's because they want to be inconspicuous when they're not in that "other" car. Not trying to unsettle anyone, just a TL to upcoming 335 owner trying to throw in his 2-cents

I have never had someone actually pull up next to me and rev their engines. I thought that only happened in movies. I dont give a fuck about any next to me so they usually realize its better off not to bother me.

Actually, when they dont give me a sideways glance, my machoism tells me its because they're afraid of the straight line beating that would occur if they did look over at me. Hahaa
