2007 BMW 335i  [0.00]
This is one of two fourth-gen Mustangs that I've actually found visually appealing. They look a bit dated compared to the new model.

I'm not a member of e90post, nor is it a naive statement, it's an informed one. We have modified 2007 Mustang GTs at the ICAR driving school and while they perform well they are far from exclusive. There is a Mustang at every other house in my neighborhood... some are very nice but they're still, imho, Mustangs. For the same price you could get something far more exclusive. This is nearly as bad as buying a Corvette and thinking you've got something exclusive.

Ha! What do you consider 'exclusive'? Surely you can't be referring to the 1 series listed below your avatar.

damn nice looking terminator.

only problem they have is the damn rear axles with the IRS. the torque that car can throw just chews them up.

It's usually 1-Series guys making these statements. Guys who own the bottom of the barrel BMW think they can pull badges out in any argument. I find that hilarious. The 1-Series has been universally derided in the automotive media (including by a Pulitzer prize winning author) as one of the ugliest cars of this generation.

How someone can be a brand snob by owning one of these monstrosities is beyond me.

Yes, that's the most hilarious part.

Typical "Guy who bought his car just for the badge" mentality.

So why didn't you just say, "I buy my cars based on snob appeal, I could care less about performance or motorsport qualities, I'm not really a motorsport enthusiast. As long as I can brag to all my friends how exclusive my rides are, it's all gravy baby."

Who's bragging? You're assuming that I buy my cars based on badge and mass appeal... in all honesty I couldn't care less, if your Ford Focus was RWD and had 400 hp and loads of torque I would probably buy it and track the fuck out of it.

I can't see your signature but I can safely assume that there is a lot of exclusiveness going on down there.

03-04 cobra is called the terminator because ford finally built a mustang that would smoke the camaro ss/trans am. it was highly underrated from the factory. it is probably faster stock than the gt500 (KR might be faster).

I loved my '03 Cobra. The comment about the 400hp RWD Ford was ironic. Though mt car had nearly 500rw with a bit less than 4k invested.
