which car for new DD?
need some help deciding which car i should get for my new DD. its either a used S2000 (near 12k miles for 23k but price is negotiable), Nismo 370z, or M-Sport 335i.
For the S200, I like the fun factor to the car but otherwise, its a honda and a bit slow *shrug* its cheap though xD Nismo 370z, it has that special edition ring to it and contrary to what most reviews say about its ride quality, its actually not too bad for me (my E46 is even worse ) For the M-Sport 335i, I havent gotten a chance to test drive it but i'd imagine it to be similar to a 330i ZHP what do you guys think? feel free to recommend some other cars too. Although they might be cars from different categories, I'm mainly looking for something that provides good reliability and that fun factor. |

135i is more fun that the 335i if that's what you're seeking.

because it is, drive both back to back, there's quite a big difference in how they feel
I would pick 335i out of that list, but coming from a 330 I'm not sure i would even do it at all

Yea, that 150lb weight difference is pretty significant.

weight has nothing to do with it, at least as far as I could tell, go test drive one and you'll see
until then, is it even smart to have an opinion on something you have not even tried?

I did drive the 135i. My impression: smaller car, inherently less stable at high speed (due to shorter wheelbase), with no major improvement in handling or acceleration (due to nearly identical weight). And I'm not even going to comment on the 1-series looks. IMO, the only reason to go for the 135i is to save a little bit of money.

of course we are all gonna say bmw...lol
but from experience, s2k is a BAD dd. Not comfy enough, and no room for daily stuff, at least what i take to work. i would go 350 because it is priced in between and a good compromise. but if you are gonna go drive them all, you are gonna walk out of there with a 335...just saying... |

I have tried the 135i. But not back to back with a 335i. Only thing comparable are to my M3 and to my e90 325i.
