Unhappy Single Turbo 335i, Twin Turbo 340i, Next Gen M3...WTF?

just saw this article here: http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Secret-...-new-2011-F30/

what is the purpose of the 340i at 360hp and the next gen m3 still at the 414hp mark? the price gap between the m3 and 340i with the potential of tuning, etc on the 340i will be like... i donno what to say...

seriously bmw and their lineup is a mess right now, doesn't make sense, now the m1 i would like to see as i think every model should have a m version.

i say just bring back the e46 m3 as a anniversary edition make like 500. come with it a c/f roof, csl front bumper, csl trunk, and csl rear bumper with a s54 bored and stroked to 3.4 or just bring it back for their next gen line up with updated navigation, electronics, etc.

by far the best was the e46 m3... someday i will buy one and do the csl conversion on it

e30...never drove one but im not a fan of the look. CSL ftw proves bmw engineering at its best making lap time history at the ring and also dominance in le mans, truely a classic.

im telling you if they made an aniversary edition m3 with the specs i listed the 500 spots will be sold mad fast

Try an e86 z4 M coupe, drives as good or better and is harder to get in and out of .

the E46 will always be a timeless classic.....so easy on the eyes.

wouldn't mind having one some day parked right next to my e92.
