New Audi commercials take not so subtle dig at BMW

Audi is airing two new commercials during the Winter Olympics currently underway. If you haven't yet seen it, they're not so subtle digs against Audi's main rivals - BMW and Lexus. Check out the spots inside.

Why does Audi constantly play the "I am better than you" Game via their marketing.

Let your product talk for its self.

Meh, let's hope it brings a substantive response from BMW. Equip the 335is sufficiently to put the S4 eating its dust in the rag comparos.

Hint: LSD option, AST or similar dampers option, lighter weight. MSRP under 50k, not over.

And damn, get some better ideas for BMW adverts.

Have you seen the most recent attempt on behalf of Audi? It just aired during the Olympics on NBC. Like any other Audi ad, it relied mostly on the image of a R8.

There have been adds chasing BMW's for years, Audi, Lexus, MB, they know who they have to bash....it does get old but it's a compliment.

It is advertising for Christ's sake. What the hell do you expect them to say.

"Audi, we may not be as good as BMW but we do charge more"

Maybe BMW can have an ad for the 335i that says: "The HPHP will probably fail, but what the hell. nobody's perfect"

uhh i love bmw to death but those ads are pretty strategic and overall more impressive than bmw's JOY ads (i understand it's joy, but will most people?)
