Jesus christ those seats are BEAUTIFUL.

I love how Audi does the driver oriented dash, but I dislike the number of buttons that clutter the place.

Did they change some of the body lines on the RS5? It looks particularly good, hated the body lines on the S5, although it could just be the pictures. Rear side angle looks kind of dorky.

Audi will always be overpriced though.

i think its going to be over priced...in typical Audi fashion....probably why this is never going to come to NA....also I'm very disappointed that there is no significant body changes from the regular S5.....

You can pretty much say that for the performance variant of most German cars. M3 looks like a 335i M sport, M6 looks like a 650i with fancy bumpers, C63 looks a a C350 but madder, RS5 looks like an S5 with an aggressive body kit. Most manufacturers keep it subtle I guess

Agreed, there's subtle differences and they are there. Some people will just notice more than others. I'm loving the car tho. Those high rez pics makes me drool haha.

Wondering if this thing will come to North America or not. God please let it come here!

The seats and trim are gorgeous, the M3 needs that imo. It gives the car a very sporty look. Too much button clustered together though, I don't like that. The exterior of the car is beautiful especially the wide tires, I like cars with wide tires i don't know why. The spoiler is eh.. I prefer it connected in a way rather than held up by two small columns. The front grill is huge, I can see it looking nicely with euro plates but with American plates I think it would look nasty... even worse without plates because its just this huge emptiness. But man.. the black and red seats..

Only if you consider a dual clutch to be an auto. I'd like all three pedals, but I don't consider a dual clutch to be an automatic.

and the same could be said about the "auto tranny" on the ferrari 458...it's just becoming a norm for sports-related vehicles..

I'd still like to see 3 pedals so I could enjoy the car the way I was raised

Current M3 is 68,350 Euro
RS5 that's gonna be coming out in April will be 77,000 Euro.

I really love the RS5 and the specs are great but wtf is with that price? I could see it being 72,000 Euro but 77,000??? That is a lot!

In the Canadian Market, the M3 cost 71,300. So lets assume if the RS5 does make it to Canada that the price will be around 75-80k. If the performance blows or at least surpasses the current M3, than a mid 70k price tag would be fine. If however, it doesn't out performs the M3, than the extra premium would make it a hard car to sell I'd think.

Thoughts?

PS, Someone needs to merge those other RS5 threads together......

Audi has always screwed us Canadians Garduna.

I'm fully expecting the cost of the car to be about 95k incl options.

I am HOPING that is the cost, at least. I know the M3 starts at ~70 here, but the RS4 (when it was around) started at 95 here. I know our dollar is on par with the US (and has been for 2 years now) so Audi should start adjusting their prices accordingly.

I remember seeing the cost of the RS4 in the states being ~65k USD and they were blatently applying a 1.3-1.4 multiplier, which is ridiculous.

I really want this car, I've waited for the perfect vehicle for TWO years now. I waited on the M3 in 08 for DCT, and by that time I caught wind of the RS5. Now I'm so happy I waited, this thing will power through Canadian winters in style and probably beat the M3.

The best part is Audi's ZSG (DSG), because they've been doing it for a while and for most sub-100k cars they will do it the best!

UGH this better come to canada!
