oy vey.....nice motor...too bad the chassis essentially is from circa 1950's.....they need to update that suspension on that car...

Have any of you even driven a 2010 Mustang? I love how you think they don't corner, etc. The fit and finish are much better now than in the past and they handle quite well too. Seems to be too many internet/magazine racers...

high 12's stock.. Not that slow. 422 crank hp and 390TQ.. Modded 335I's will prob have to start watching for the 5.0 badage... Supposedly the 2011 GT lapped Michigan’s GingerMan Raceway dead-even with the current BMW M3. I am acually quite impressed with the 2011 Mustang, would I buy one is a different question though but I would think about it.

I think its getting a lot harder to talk trash about Ford and Chevy. I really commend there engineering efforts as of late. There are certain things about the car I admire and others not so much... people just need to get over the stigma of past American automobiles.
I'm not gonna be picking on any Mustangs in the near future. |

The disappointing thing is the hp peak comes 250rpm before fuel cutoff. Kind of hard to generate good 1/4 times when you have to shift effectively at the peak..

Actually probably a little over 3600. Thats what is quoted for 2010 3valve 4.6s
The 4valve heads are no doubt heavier and I imagine the block is a little more also. |

Weighs less than the Camaro.
I'm not a fan of either to be honest. Mustangs have come a long way in terms of handling and fit and finish but the interior still reeks of domestic. |

That Camaro may look and weigh like a tank but a buddy of mine at work has a SS with near equal mods of my 335i and he pulls pretty hard on me in 2nd and 3rd, I don't start pulling until top of 3rd into 4th. Advantage = Camaro on the street but that's me running map 5 on 91 oct, I walk on him at Sac Raceway with race gas and map 8
