Check out my new rig!
TOTAL impulse purchase, but this thing is pretty solid! Don't think it would hold up well attached in a car but my point and shoot works perfectly!

I bought it a Calumet for 75 bucks. I have no idea if that's a good price or not, but I have a track day coming up Monday that I plan on using it for. The Mk2 is awesome. Period. I think it might be too heavy for the mounting rig while moving in a car so I'm gonna try my point and shoot. I will post it up!

I hate to tell you this, but your solar lights in the backyard are not evenly spaced. lol j/k Nice. I've been quite tempted to pic up a similar setup to play with rolling shots. So far, I've done a good job of not giving into temptation, though!

It was frickin awesome! Yours looks really sturdy. All metal construction? I have some video, but I don't know how to post it. Do I need to upload to youtube first?

Yup, all metal. The suction cups (Avenger F1000) have a bit of flex like their reviews state. I need to get a 2nd one for stability. I also want to look for something that might allow me to use the bolt on one end of the magic arm to hook up to the cup. I just threw on a super clamp for now. The Delkin you have seems to be pretty popular. I came close to getting it, but I have an affinity for making things overly complicated for myself.
Hmmm...not sure how to host video. I have a friend that has free file hosting and you'd be able to upload your video depending on the file size. You wouldn't be able to embed it, though.

Yeah, I really like my set up. If I was man enough, I'd put it outside the car, but I'm chicken. The suction cups are really strong, and I definitely recommend you get two, especially if you have a DSLR on it. I'll figure out the video thing tonight and post it up.
