WOW! Not good.

Yes, it is their business what they do on their lunch break, but I'd be fired if I were drinking and smoking pot at lunch every day. I don't work in a factory nor do I belong to a Union to save me.

No it's not their business when they're becoming intoxicated on their lunch break. That's serious shit. I'm not sure anyone would say the same if we were talking about a neurologist getting buzzed before brain surgery. I'd say its the same thing - These are the guys who are putting in your air bags, your fuel pump, your electrical safety equipment. What if your wife was driving a jeep and got head on'd, and her air bags didn't deploy because some auto union prick was too high to correctly assemble them?

I had 2 Jeeps as my business cars, was thinking of getting another one this time for the family car.... not this time for sure.

perhaps it will be a X3 or a LM-350d ... then I remember the boys in Germany also drink beer during there lunch time (I know this since I helped brick layers as a student in Germany and they had there beer with there sandwich at lunch time). I wonder what the rules are at BMW and MB .... hmmmmmmm interesting. Perhaps the boys at Chrisler heard about the German beer drinking habit when they were associated with MB. Hmmmmmm I wonder

I so wanted to purchase an American Family car

X3s and X5s are made in the USA! I consider my X5 an "American Family Car".......

I had 2 2nd-gen Grand Cherokees. Great cars, although not the most reliable.

After my wife got a 3rd-gen GC, I was turned off by the decrease in quality, and would not buy one again...

You don't have to only consider the cars made under the pentagram. There are good offerings from the other, better American automakers.

These guys were fired.

Chrysler has the best opportunity to win our hearts over the rest of them, they are family to Alfa Romeo and Fiat. Just give them time to adjust to life as a (soon to be) mostly European owned company and the platforms to proliferate, it will be great.

The Jeep salesman I saw last week told me that the Interior of Jeep (after I commented about how nice it now is on the inside dash seats etc.) is modelled after the Audi.

Also, I talked to 2 of my friends about the video (both do do contract work for Ford) they just smiled and said "the same is going on at Ford and GM.

Whats unbelievable is how they drink and smoke so fast... I can drink a 24oz and smoke a joint in 30 minutes too but I would have to rush myself pretty hard.

well its their lunch break. its really not that bad. i thought they were drinking in the factory while working on the cars... i mean its not right to come to work drunk but i took a can of beer with my burger during my lunch break, its probably not going to affect my productivity.

i am on the fence on this one. they should get a warning but getting fired would be extreme.
